A Request for Vaccines

As most of you probably know, the Macintosh community is currently being plagued by a variety of computer viruses. [A virus is a tiny program which can hide itself in your operating system and reproduce, spreading silently from machine to machine; some viruses are harmless, others are quite destructive.]

Since I am living precisely in the middle of nowhere, I have been unable to obtain any vaccines or diagnostic aids. There are at least a half dozen such programs floating around (including Virus Rx, Interferon, Ferret, KillScores, VirusWarningINIT, and Vaccination). If any of you possess any such programs PLEASE include them on your transit disk and I will distribute them to the rest of the group.

Assuming I receive the necessary software, I will provide some kind of special feature in the next issue to explain more about viruses. If any of you have had any experience with these diabolical parasites, please hit the respond button and tell your story on a voice card!
