I don't know if it's bowling that brings out the worst in people or if it is competion in a noisy, smoke filled room full of half drunk people. That contributes to rowdiness, I think.

Anyway, Diane is a bowler, and has been for quite a while (she was on the Stanford bowling team, believe it or not). She made many good male friends from the men with whom she has bowled. In fact, one of our very closest friends is a guy she bowled with while at Stanford.

So, don't totally discount bowling.
