Steve and I recently purchased two wonderful programs from Hyperglot Software.
Kanji Master is a wonderful program which teaches you how to read Kanji. As far as Japanese goes, this is an excellent program for teaching those of use with 1st grade reading skills, how to recongnize, pronounce and write the Japanese characters. They provide sound and correct stroke sequence for the various characters.
We also purchased Introduction to Russian. While it is not as involved as Kanji Master, it is a handy little program. It also provides sound so that you can learn to pronounce the Russian alphabet correctly.
What will they think of next? If anyone is interested in these to programs, please let me know. They are a little large to transfer as gift cards.
