This is a response to VC 26 Larry 8 ("Perot redone")...
I'm glad to see that Perot is back and is going to try to keep Bill Clinton on the straight and narrow.
Its a tough job. Clinton's history is against his doing a good job. Remember when Clinton first made Governor. He really tried to change things and got booted out. He came back and was a lot more moderate, or as some say, sold out to the business interests. That history is going to keep him from trying anything that will upset the entrenched interests.
That's why I sent my fifteen dollars to Ross Perot's campaign fund. He is going to try to see that Bill Clinton does the things that he has been promising.
How did I feel about Perot's being upset about attacks on his daughter, real or imagined? I thought that it was mostly a ploy on Perot's part to let him hide from the public spotlight for a few months. He used it, hid for a while and then came back. No real problem for me.
