My vote is that they are easier at first than they used to be. But there is also the intimidation factor - some people will never get over that. When I went to purchase my computer I was asking questions the saleman (pc person) could not answer so I think maybe I know more than I give myself credit for.
But to answer your question: it is possible to go into a library and use the computerized card catalog (I still use the cards) and it's possible to use applications sans bugs, but when you get into trouble can you get out?
What do you mean by "use"?
