This is a response to Vol 15 Roger 3 ("C Question?")...
Despite John's intensive proselytising, I have yet to develop any particular attachment to HyperCard. Therefore, I have not looked into the writing of XCMD's.
Think C 4.0 does include a new user's manual. Again, not having seen the old manual, I'm not in a position to compare them. Basically, though, the manual presupposes knowledge of C *and* of the Mac Toolbox.
Think C 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 contain a few bugfixes to 4.0. The recently-released 4.0.2 is specifically modified to work under Apple's System 7. It does NOT work with System 6, which is probably what you are running. So 4.0.2 is probably what you want.
I think I answered your other questions to the best of my ability in the last issue.
