I find your idea so off the wall that it's appealing. I suggest that you write a story about an ice cream short story woman who wanders around handing out prophetic stories on cones to kids in need, kind of like a wacked-out fairy godmother dispensing justice through dairy products.

Surely there's an idea in here somewhere?
