This is a response to volume 4, John Card Number 19 ("Diversified Reviews")...

Well, I didn't really mean to take credit for the idea of offering other sorts of reviews. What I wanted to point out was that 1) Discussion on the subject has dated from way-back-when and 2) Nothing was being done. I am currently satisfied that there is action on this front. May I quote you? Thanks:

"ANYWAY, it's clearly a good idea and I am now officially committed to it. Somehow or other we will have music reviews, software/hardware reviews, and, as Larry suggested, a travel guide to end all travel guides."

Now for a more direct response to one question you posed:

The most obvious button (field?) missing from your list would have to be the *rating* button. Restaurants and movies are traditionally given ratings of from one to five stars (Half-stars are not unusual). One of the Mac magazines uses mice instead of stars. Perhaps we could devise some such cutesy symbol.
