In the past, Sternberg's primary research focus has been in the area of intelligence - he's very well known and respected in this area. The article that I summarized for you was the first work from him that has not dealt exclusively with intelligence. I'm sure he has written a book at some time in his life - I know that he has written numerous book chapters and journal articles.
I don't know if you ever met Mike Gardner at the U of U (asst prof in educational psychology). He was one of Sternberg's students at Yale.
